But not to fear-our newest products are just as environmentally friendly, and just as much fun to promote your business with. We are thrilled to provide you with a little peek into a couple of the latest offerings that have been sprouting up at Buddy Burst HQ. Check back in soon, as we’ll be releasing more!
That’s right, we’ve entered the fashion industry! We are now offering environmentally friendly, and affordable, t-shirts. Being comprised of 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton, we suggest you steer clear of hungry panda bears while sporting this shirt. The fabric is soft and silky to the touch, and can be printed with just about any design you like. The shirts are of course, available in a mix of colors and sizes. We suggest ordering a variety for your employees, or to give away to customers.
While the UK is doing better with limiting plastic bags than other countries, there are still a concerning amount of them being mindlessly used. Regardless of the 5p charge that was added to plastic bags in October 2015, it’s estimated that over 2 billion bags were still used from April 2016 – April 2017. What’s worse is that these bags are typically made from raw, crude material that pollute the atmosphere with CO2. We’ve got a solution, and a pretty “corny” one at that! Bio-bags function like regular plastic bags, but are made of 100% non-GMO cornstarch derived from European-grown corn. They are sturdy, and can be stored up to two years in a dry environment.
We find the science behind the cornstarch-based bags fascinating, and hope you do, as well! The non-GMO cornstarch is processed into a granulate called Mater-Bi®. The granules are sourced from an Italian company, which owns over 800 patents and has received numerous international awards and prizes. The degradation process of the Mater-Bi® material takes place either in an industrial composting plant, or in the in-house compost. Materials are composted within 8 to 12 weeks, with the help of microorganisms and heat. The material decomposes CO2-neutral into its naturally occurring, renewable and non-toxic starting materials.
In our next blog, we’ll be discussing three more fun new products that we’ve recently added!
